Someone who disappears in one trilogy comes back in another. If you have listened in order you will already have noticed. The book shows every one of those connections instead of hiding them.
Two editions
The Korean edition runs 93 pages, the English one 147. You are welcome to read them side by side. What survives a translation and what quietly does not was, for me, part of the story too.
How it differs from the website
On the site each chapter sits next to its album and the full lyrics, so you can read while listening.
The PDF is words only. Some people would rather read it straight through in silence. Print it if you like — the page size was chosen for that.
Why it is free
This is a story about records. About erased names, and the people who wrote them down again. Putting a story like that behind a paywall did not add up.
